Ava Sanders: A Journey of Hope and Advocacy for Childhood Apraxia of Speech
Diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech just before her third birthday, Ava Sanders has worked tirelessly to find her voice. Now 16, Ava is thriving as a junior board member for One Voice Arkansas. Through consistent speech therapy, family advocacy, and perseverance, she graduated from speech services in second grade and now leads with confidence, passion, and hope—showing what’s possible for kids growing up with CAS.

One Voice Arkansas is excited to welcome Mollie Bennett to the Junior Board—a thoughtful, driven student whose passion for communication, leadership, and service is guiding her toward a future in speech pathology. A Future Built Around Communication Mollie is currently attending Ouachita Baptist University, where she is working toward a career in speech pathology with plans to become a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Her decision to join the One Voice Arkansas Junior B
