Paisley Pettus Thomson

Little Rock Arkansas

Paisley Pettus Thomson is a Junior Board Member at One Voice Arkansas and a sophomore at Little Rock Christian Academy. A caring sister and passionate advocate, Paisley brings heart and firsthand experience to her role. She volunteers in her community, including time with ACCESS and other local organizations, and is always looking for ways to support children with different needs.

Paisley is also a dedicated athlete, playing both soccer and volleyball at LRCA and competing in club volleyball with Elite Volleyball Academy (EVA). Her strong sense of teamwork and leadership carries over into her advocacy, where she’s driven by a personal connection to Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). “I want to be on the Junior Board because my sister has apraxia and I want to help her get better,” she shared. In fact, it was her letter to Governor Sanders that lead to May 15 being declared as Childhood Apraxia Awareness Day in Arkansas.

Through her service, Paisley hopes to raise awareness, support families, and help build a more inclusive world for kids like her sister. She is a powerful example of how sibling advocacy can lead to real change—one voice at a time.
