Maggie May Ritchie

Maggie May Ritchie is a Junior Board Member at One Voice Arkansas and a graduate student at Stephen F. Austin State University, where she is pursuing her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. A summa cum laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Maggie is deeply passionate about helping children find their voices—especially those affected by Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).

Maggie’s clinical experience includes working with children diagnosed with CAS, autism, and expressive language disorders at the SFA Stanley Center for Speech and Language Disorders and Temple Memorial Pediatric Center. She has supported families through therapy assistance, data collection, and communication development, gaining firsthand insight into the power of early intervention and advocacy.

Beyond her clinical work, Maggie serves as a Youth Development Specialist with the Boys and Girls Club and as a substitute teacher for Nacogdoches ISD. Her leadership extends to roles such as Public Relations Officer for the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Secretary of Chi Omega Sorority.

With her professional expertise, personal dedication, and strong background in communication sciences, Maggie brings valuable knowledge and empathy to the One Voice Arkansas Junior Board. She is committed to helping children with CAS build confidence, connection, and a voice of their own.
